Been wondering what all I need to get for this build. I've been reading that custom pistons will be needed. The crank needs cut. No idea on the rods. Really like to find out.

There are shelf pistons for either size BB rod- that said if you don’t have the block already- the same process is involved in building a 451 with a 400 block- 451 is one of the best combos for street/ strip

Well, I agree with the 451, but I don't have a 400 block, I have the 1970, 383. I full admit I am not knowledgeable about them. I'm shooting for a 426 cuber in the disguise of a 383. I want gather up all my parts needed ahead of time.

I recall 1 has a 1.090 wrist pin, 1 has a bushed wrist pin, and 1 has a .990 wrist pin.
