As posted by Wayfarer: wayfarer New forged piston manufacturer « on: January 31, 2010, 11:48:35 AM Just a heads up for anyone needing/wanting to source forged pistons for their next project. This is a fairly new company and they have been focusing on the chev-ford applications (until we got them moving toward Mopar). I have just received the first Hemi pistons from these nice folks, and they are nice! These 276 DeSoto Hemi pistons are from the AutoTec line. www.racetecpistons.comI had hoped to post some pics but, basically, I am a techno-tard and haven't found the right keystrokes... Suggestions? If anyone has a forged piston need (any make/model) I will be happy to call the manufacturer, check on your application, and offer a quote. As with custom pistons, making changes is pretty easy. These 276 pieces are set up for a slightly longer rod (6.125 vs 6.067) and a smallish 0.927 x 2.5" pin. These pistons are 10:1. Sorry in advance for not having a web site so you can 'look around'... Gary The manufacturer goes to great lengths to package their parts, even the pins are wrapped in a plastic sleeve to protect them in transit

How about a quote for say 9:1 compression 0.090 overbore? Billet rods, no stroker. Dave As posted by Wayfarer: wayfarer Sorry in advance for not having a web site so you can 'look around'... Sorry, been out of 'touch' for awhile with a health issue.
'We' are having some start-up issues for the poly slugs, but still moving forward. Current retail cost is set at $740...But some hefty discounts will be given to forum members.
I'll keep everyone posted.

Very interesting...
My nephew's Poly project has got to get advanced some time soon. He'll be wanting 4.0" pistons and cutaways in one side of the piston only. That means he'll have four pistons for the left bank and four for the right... and never the twain shall meet.
Are the forgings made in the USA or China?
