This is a time lapse of the scale model provided by Tom Coolidge of Promolite: As some of you know, I have been looking for a model kit for years to make a replica of Fugly....was looking on the net a few days ago, as occasionally there is a fastback kit or built car, usually in rough shape. I always thought I could get a 60 plymouth kit and use the roof as I didn't think anybody made a sedan. I stumbled across Tom Coolidges Promolite site and found one. Those of you who build alot of models probably already know of him, but if not check his site out-http://public.fotki.com/tomcoolidge/promolite-product-list/kdog11.html. I emailed him and he is sending a body, windows , bumpers, etc.. even tho the kit has been out of production for 2 years. Great guy -I never expected this. His site is very interesting with pics of how you make resin castings, completed models , etc.... This will take my awhile, but I have been thinking about this for years and thanks to Tom I can gey started soon. Tom got going -here's some pics of him fitting a chassis / cleaning up the body- Model is on the way to me now Model is in Texas- Tom sent multiple grills, hoods, bupers and lights- guess he expects me to be less than perfect LOL- also sent a vintage Sox and Martin kit for parts- can't say enough about the way he does business-HIGHLY RECOMMEND using him for any model needs you have -THANKS TOM-some pics...
